My Lunar New Year celebration this year~
This year's CNY is super fun & packed! Love my family, Love my Dear, Love my friends, and of course, LOVE the food!!! Been starving myself for this CNY lor~ Ang baos? It's not that tempting to me. Being able to meet up with my relatives is much more tempting leh~
~EVE~
On the eve, mahjong time after our tuan yuan fan! My mahjong system is really down, it's time to recharge my skills! I admit I am a gambler, haha ever since kindergarten, I played pokers with my loving neighbours who are about my age. In primary two, I learnt mahjong from them. Back to the eve of CNY, I invited my neighbour Hui Min over to have our mahjong session, Pei Ying & Pei Hon... WHERE ARE YOU~??? Those were the days... Miss them so much...
Lao yu sheng was the activity in-between of our mahjong session, that was the third time I lao yu sheng liao lor~ Still, it's soooooooooooooo FUN!!!
There is one very important thing to do in the eve -- shou shui, as a filial daughter, I insisted to follow the old-sayings, stayed up so as to prolong my hearty parents' life. Nothing is more important than my beloved family~
~Day 1~
Lucky I did not have any panda eye after the eve, hee. I still can makeup pretty pretty to meet everyone.
First thing, greet my parents and grandma who’s living just next door, my relatives at Daddy’s side always gathered at my grandma’s house so usually we set off to my Mummy’s side in the early afternoon after wishing happy New Year to the relatives. However, this year is rather different, before I went to my Mummy’s side, I set my way off to Dear's grandma's house - my 1st stop and also the 1st time meeting Dear's relatives~
Before heading to my grandma's house, Dear & I prefered to have a little private time - there we went to have our lunch, just the two of us. Me? Of course, cam-whoring AGAIN~
At my grandma’s house, excited to meet my long time no see relatives! Like typical hokkien family, the house was full of laughters, chao re nao!
The little ones were driving me crazy:
1st, I played with my little cousin Yong En, he was so active~ Made me chased like hell~
2nd, I carried my youngest cousin Jie En, it’s his FIRST CNY!!! He’s unbelievingly CUTE!!! I LOVE babies~
3rd, my little cousin Mei Hui came up and showed her polished fingernails to me, LOLx guess vanity is in our family genes!
~Day 2~
Went to Dear’s Mummy’s side – his Aunt’s house~ Finally get to meet my primary school’s best friend, Xue Fen, who is also Dear’s cousin, coincidental right? Long time never meet her liao. After which, went to Dear’s house for dinner – steamboat!!!
~Day 3~
Been invited to Hui Fang’s house for CNY celebration cum small gathering, mahjong AGAIN~ Irresistible~ Dear came and meet me after that, then went to Maine’s house for steamboat and mahjong again again again~
My celebration did not end here… My sweet BDJ sisters & brothers had our celebration on Day 7. Pictures will be uploaded soon after I got them. =)
